I did too and then we rescued 2 babies that almost froze to death and it upped our babies number to 11. They both shared all the babies. A friend of mine had one litter of puppies and one litter of kittens at the same time. The kittens often went to the dog for milk and it was ok for the dog. I’ve had 3 momma cats nursing and caring for 2 litters. 1 mom couldn’t carry to term but produced milk and protected any of the kittens as her own. They’d all curl up in the big box with the kittens and just purr away. on our back porch, we had 16 kittens and 4 mothers. People are so ignorant of feline behavior sometimes. Lol. This is clearly two female cats feeding their kits. Me too. I have 2 mama cats gave birth a week apart. The first mama, Jojie had 5 litters and the 2nd mama, Baby had 1 litter. They shared the same box. Even if I put them in different boxes and divide the babies equally, they will end in either 1 of the boxes.
