Lara Lawal I totally agree! Of course, it sucks (a whole lot actually.) to have to give up an animal family member. And it’s not always your choice. People apparently need to understand that better… I was moving from Florida to Minnesota (literally totally opposite climates and across the country) so I couldn’t take my dog with. I was heartbroken but we found him a good family. It’s understandable and it’s not always just “giving the animal up” sometimes it’s needed. Sometimes it’s for the pets best interest. Night Fury My Patronus Is A Toothless Shirt. I don’t know if it is such a bad thing that this cat has been given away — as allowing a cat to get to that stage of obesity is extremely cruel. Hopefully, his new family will be his forever home, and will indeed help him to get healthier (overweight cats are very prone to diabetes).
