Took my cat to the shelter because he kept scratching my 1-year-old human baby. It was tough but the right choice, I called a month later to see if he had been adopted and he was still in the shelter. Called a month later after that and found out he was euthanized. Moral of the story: declaw your cat if necessary and don’t be scared by what others think of you if you do it. It’s A Beautiful Day To Save Lives Shirt. Declawing should be banned. Pets should be researched before buying. Owners need training on how to care for, train, and live with pets, especially around children. Declawing is cruel, if you think you should do it, then you should not own a cat. Don’t see why people think this is acceptable. If the cats didn’t need claws they wouldn’t have them. Leave the poor creatures alone. I swear here in Europe (or at least in my country) we don’t even know wtf declawing is. If you bring your cat to the vet asking for it they will probably press charges on you for cruelty and take away your cat from your dangerous ass.
