Lauren Dunwell can I just say that we had two kittens (a boy and a girl) when they were taken from their mother at 10 weeks. We were going to have them spayed/neutered at 6 months of age. When the female was about 4–5 months old I noticed she was putting on weight and one day when sitting on my lap I felt something moving in her stomach — she was pregnant. There is no such thing as incest in the animal world. I’m The Big Sister No Question No Argument Shirt. We made a bed for her and when the time came we watched her give birth. She had 6 kittens in total — 2 unfortunately stillborn and 1 with a cleft palate that died after 24 hours. I kept one of the kittens as he was pure white with a few tabby markings and I had always wanted a white cat and our best friend had the other two. All of them are treated like princes and princesses and our best friend who had a boy and a girl had them neutered/spayed when they were 3 months old.
