The food ( pizza is not healthy for dogs) would be eaten quickly, the note could blow away in wind or get soggy and unreadable in rain. The leash or rope could get tangled around the dog’s legs or neck. And what about the dog’s feelings of abandonment and despondency? There are much better choices and everyone knows this.
