Tammy Lundberg-Grno My brother-in-law is the principal of a public Pre-Kindergarten school in Oklahoma that has at least one group of kids has school at a nursing home so the kids interact with the elderly folks all the time. It’s working great. Sure they do. Every living creature needs to feel they’re needed. Even if they simply tell themselves that. It’s all that they need to overcome hopelessness. Hopelessness is the worse feeling any living creature could have and it leads self-destruction by it’s simply to give up. Hi Carol. I would love to think that we all want and need to be loved, cared for and nurtured shouldn’t matter if we are human or animals we all respond to how we are treated. I have a gorgeous wee rescue cat who we got when she was 8 weeks old and who was so tiny she fitted into the palm of my hand.
