I have ducks, geese and sand cranes come and stay by my patio when I’m out there. They come as close as 2–3 feet. I could reach over and touch the cranes if I wanted. They know me and my voice. They also come when I call them. I’ve got lots of pictures of my cranes. A few years ago these 2 big ducks that belonged to a neighbor seriously stalked me and got physical with their attention to the point that I was afraid to get out of my own house! It was crazy! Very heartwarming story! I’m really happy that Kurbis found him forever home! But, please, don’t let him chew/eat bubble wrap…he could choke on it.
