One day before I dropped off my cat at my friend’s place for a trip, I stopped at a pet store to get cat nail tip covers for my cat. The store clerk said I should consider declawing as she did on her cat. I said no it’s very cruel and damaging operation on cats. Her response was “oh I found a very good vet to do it for mine”. Amputation is amputation no matter how expensive your vets charge you. If you don’t like a cat with claws then don’t have a cat. A cat needs claws in order to climb and kill mice. If you don’t like that get a stuffed toy instead of a live animal!
