They seem to have a collective consciousness and intelligence but maybe all species do except humans! why didn’t they went through the V end of the bridge and instead created the bridge themselves..? Was there an Ant repellent applied there? Also when it floods, they also form an ant raft a colony of ants flowing with the water the bottom half die but save the rest above and use them as a life raft till the flood water recedes. My guess would be more than the ants are near identical in their thought process and thus arrive at the same conclusion and execute it. James Curd then they all should stop or run. Or they have names/numbers?
