My 7-month-old kitten tries to “catch” my lashes when I blink sometimes. Still, refusing to have her declawed. Her fosters kept her nails trimmed from a young age, so she doesn’t freak out when we trim them. Perhaps ur mom should have done what I did. Find a good home for the cat and waited until u were older to get another one. I work everything in my house around my cats. I waited until my youngest was 5 to get another cat. At that point, I saw she loved animals and would have been great with them and I was right. She was beyond great and today, at 11, she is a wonderful help with our cats and even walks the dog.
