Because it’s better to have more time than you thought rather than be told he has a year to live and he passes away after a few months. As no vet wants to cause pain and upset to the owners. I was in near pieces over this cat, how hard his life must have been and after years of struggling and fighting to survive, he finally found some love, care, and purpose. He was meant to be a foster grandad.
